I have been passionately working with special children since past 22 years. As a special Educator working in various organizations, I realized many children were referred to us via Psychologist, Doctors, and Schools but many kids still sitting at home without Special Education and without Therapy.

Due to lack of awareness and poverty sometimes parent’s denial. They do not accept child’s difficulties.

As India is a growing and developed Country in terms of education, we are yet to develop this corner of education which is needed for our children.

Being a certified Special Educator, Remedial Teacher and Counselor I must have to become a part to reduce these challenges. And wonderful thought come to my mind that I will devote my education and knowledge to Special Children. I can create platform to encourage and make independent to children who need special care. I established my own Rehabilitation Center with my professional Team. The name of our institute is “Healing Touch” we can Heal & Treat children through therapies.

Initially it was very difficult to manage but having wonderful support from Team (Special educator, therapist, parents) without getting defeated we overcame all challenges and continued our work with positivity from past 4 years. Read More

Dr. Rashmi Manohar is a Certified Occupational Therapist. She is always happy and clam while dealing with clients and has the ability to find solutions to the problems.

Dr. Rashmi always involves working closely with patients. She helps the clients to deal with every step of client's way to recovery including job roles and daily tasks. Mrs. Vaishali Sapkal is a special educator at Healing Touch. She is very involved with her students while teaching. Vaishali mam is also awarded by Asha Special School (Nishad Foundation) in year 2018-2019 as “Best Teacher Award”. She goes that extra mile to make each lesson student centric. Her warm and friendly disposition helps the students to relax and learn in a pleasant environment.

She initiates activities which help her to build strategies in teaching. She has a good class control while maintaining a light atmosphere through her sessions. Senior Special Educator

Mrs. Neeta Sawant Kadam is a Senior Special Educator. She is passionately working in this field since last 20 years. Neeta mam is very clam, and very active as well as always been a favorite teacher of all children. She always updates her knowledge by attending Continuing Rehabilitation Education (C.R.E) Programme. After C.R.E Programme she uses that knowledge to guide and advice other special educators.
