I have been passionately working with special children since past 22 years. As a special Educator working in various organizations, I realized many children were referred to us via Psychologist, Doctors, and Schools but many kids still sitting at home without Special Education and without Therapy.
Due to lack of awareness and poverty sometimes parent’s denial. They do not accept child’s difficulties.
As India is a growing and developed Country in terms of education, we are yet to develop this corner of education which is needed for our children.
मी अभिराज शेलारची आई श्वेता शेलार. अभिराज (6 yrs borderline child with ADHD) लहानपणापासून चंचल असून एका जागेवर तो २ मिनिटपेक्षा जास्त बसत नव्हता. त्याच बरोबर तो हट्टी पण होता. ह्या उलट शाळेतील अभ्यासाचा विचार केला तर त्याच लिखाण, वाचन मी घरी मोठ्या मेहनतीने पूर्ण करून घेत होते. अभ्यासघेताना कधी इंटरेस्ट दाखवत होता व कधी नव्हता.
